Asus Eee PC 1000H gets $100 cheaper

Competition seems to be getting the best of Asus' Eee PC 1000H as the netbook has seen its priced slashed to $549 after just about a week since it arrived in the US. The $100 price cut should make it more attractive to those looking for a 10-inch LCD-equipped netbook although we have to note that MSI's Wind U100 can be found at $499. It's nice to see the Eee PC line-up being kept in check, price wise, of course.
