The GX620 and GX720, besides the Blu-ray, also offer up Intel Centrino 2 technology and graphics via an Nvidia GeForce 9600M GT chip. It's also got other bells and whistles like Dolby 7.1 digital surround sound, HDMI input (GX620), Bluetooth (GX620) and a 320 GB hard drive.

One of the most interesting features looks to be "quick launch touch sensors." These touch sensors are used to fire up MSI's Turbo Drive Engine overclocking technology and also something called ECO Engine Management. MSI describes this latter feature as an energy saving function while lets one choose between five different operating modes to conserve battery life.

Design wise, you get a choice of 15.4” or 17” models. The notebook is housed in an alloy case which has some nice design touches, including red accents.

Pricing has not been announced.
